After the design was finalized with the homeowner and the functional requirements determined, we got to work.
First, a complete bathroom gut was completed, followed by; the installation of pocket doors, framed in front of the existing wall to create more room in the bathroom.
Then the vanity was selected by the homeowner; a pre-built vanity was chosen, with our designers help from Empire Industries Vanity. Complete with a countertop, this floating vanity works to make the bathroom look and feel larger then it is. Even with the size of the vanity, the fact that it doesn’t go clear to the floor ensures the eye line travels straight to the wall, maximizing the perceived area.
As with many of our local Westchester County bathroom remodeling projects, we partnered with Best Plumbing of Scarsdale, NY, who supplied all required plumbing items and Creative Tile of Ridgefield, CT who provided all the tile.
Lastly, our team of painters came in to apply the final touch, the modern gray color of Benjamin Moore Paint, which adds to the soothing qualities of this bathroom. White trim around the windows helps make the windows look bigger and magnifies the glow of natural sunlight coming into the room.
